Schooley Mitchell Spotlight Your Bottom Line

In the heart of Oshawa, where tradition meets technology, Your Bottom Line is rewriting the narrative of accounting. Mike Libby, the Chief Operating Officer, shares the journey of his family-driven business, its evolution, and its commitment to staying at the forefront of the accounting and financial industry.

In 2004, Your Bottom Line was born, a brainchild of Ross Libby, the founder, and patriarch of the family. Fast forward to 2010 when Mike Libby, his son, took the plunge, becoming the first employee. What started as a two-person team, has since blossomed into a robust ensemble of 30 professionals, weathering the tumultuous waves of the past few years.

Over the years, Mike has played an instrumental role in shaping the operations of Your Bottom Line, moving from handling bookkeeping and personal tax returns to streamlining processes and overseeing the company’s growth.

The company’s focus goes far beyond numbers and prioritizes strengthening the relationships it creates while striving to keep up with innovative accounting practices. Your Bottom Line is committed to embracing technology to make clients’ lives easier. The YBL Connect Smart Tax App, introduced last year, takes personal tax filing to a new level. With interactive features, chat capabilities, and an encrypted client portal, it ensures security and efficiency, setting a standard for the future of accounting services.

In a world where personal taxes are evolving, Mike acknowledges the significance of tech-savvy solutions.

“There is an argument that some simple personal tax returns might not even need to be done by an accounting firm within the next five years,” he notes, citing advancements in technology and artificial intelligence.

Your Bottom Line, however, is not just keeping up, it’s leading the way.

The company’s commitment extends beyond its client base and into the surrounding community. Mike serves on the membership committee for the Whitby Chamber of Commerce and Ross is involved with 100 Men of Oshawa as well as other local networking organizations. Your Bottom Line also proudly takes part in charitable initiatives, like its recent holiday party where non-perishable goods were collected and donated to the local Feed the Need charity.

As they navigate the upcoming tax season, Your Bottom Line is not just crunching numbers, the company is sculpting a future where innovation, family values, and community commitment converge to redefine the landscape of accounting services in Ontario. Mike Libby and Your Bottom Line are simply writing the playbook when it comes to the future of accounting.

If you need personal tax services this season, check out all the detailed accounting services offered by Your Bottom Line in Oshawa, Ontario at www.yourbottomline.ca.

Recommendation for Beautiful Smiles

To whom it may concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for a great local practice, Beautiful Smiles. Located in Erie, Pennsylvania, Beautiful Smiles offers comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.

Beautiful Smiles strives to provide the best possible pediatric dental and orthodontic care through kindness, education, and excellent treatment. This includes general anesthesia, mouth guards, sedation dentistry, and more.

I was referred to Dr. Drew, the practice owner, and his team by my dentist when my daughter needed a cavity filled and I was truly impressed with the whole experience. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, I could tell everyone was passionate about what they do and genuinely cared about their patients. From the tv’s playing children’s movies to the fruit-scented nasal hoods, it was evident that Beautiful Smiles knows and understands their clients. The process was smooth, and they went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was as comfortable and worry free as possible.

I recommend Beautiful Smiles without hesitation to anyone looking for a kid-friendly dental practice. Beautiful Smiles has an amazing team that’s dedicated to providing the best possible dental care through kindness, education, and excellent treatment.

Sincerely,

Letter of Recommendation from TIGHTCO

To whom it may concern,

I have known Rod Holter for over 25 years and was delighted to hear that he was representing Schooley Mitchell, and could potentially achieve savings for my business. I knew we could trust Rod and his team to provide this service with professionalism and care that would be meaningful to my business.

Operating a multi-site manufacturing operation has a unique set of challenges. These challenges all too often can distract my team from getting the best value with some of our overhead suppliers. In fact, we simply do not have the data to know what the best deal may look like, but we discovered that Schooley Mitchell does.

Rod’s team analyzed 8 cost categories by reviewing our supplier invoices to determine whether savings could be found. The process is truly seamless for the client. All that was required was a quick conversation about our set up, access to our invoices and contracts, and then Schooley Mitchell did all the work from there.

My confidence was proven spot on when Rod came back to me and presented the report showing that Schooley Mitchell was able to identify more than six figures in annual savings. These savings allow us to better serve our customers and staff, which means a lot to our business.
We are very happy with the work Rod and his team at Schooley Mitchell have done for TIGHITCO and strongly recommend any business or organization take advantage of their services and partnership.

Sincerely,

Mark Withrow,
President & CEO, TIGHITCO

Testimonial Letter From Claggett & Sons Inc

To whom it may concern,

As a General Contractor in Central Ohio, our business is always on the go and always looking for ways to make this business run much smoother. Jim Lichtenberg from Schooley Mitchell has worked tirelessly to make sure we have options that will make us run much more efficiently as well as save money.

A little over a year ago, we were looking for a credit card processing solution. Since we are not a retail establishment, the difficulty with this is finding a processing company that would not charge an outlandish fee on the months we didn’t have any transactions. Recently, we ran into a snag where we sent a rather large amount through, and the processing company flagged it. However, this is where the story gets more interesting. Because we hadn’t been with the processing company long enough to know these kinds of procedures, the email telling us that ¡we had a flagged transaction went to the spam folder.

I quickly brought Jim in on this snafu, and he walked beside me every step. He stayed on top of all the communications, touching base with me on a regular basis to make sure I had what I needed and also to make sure I knew he was more than happy to go to bat for me.

It took a little over two weeks to sort out, and Jim was a huge part of the resolution. It is a pleasure to do business with someone who cares about MY business as if it were his own and I highly recommend Jim to help support your business as well.

Thanks, Jim!

Sincerely,
Renae Spurgeon,

Office Manager Claggett & Sons, Inc.
