As co-owners, Bob and Kathie opened Mathnasium of Washington Township in September 2010. Since its opening, the center has helped hundreds of students in the Sewell, Williamstown, Sicklerville and Washington Township areas understand math by providing quality homework help and math tutoring.
Mathnasium of Washington Township uses the Mathnasium Method to make math make sense to kids from Grades 2-12. The specially trained and passionate staff assess each student to pinpoint specific needs and create customized learning plans, which use a combination of proprietary materials and instruction techniques to teach math concepts. Mathnasium of Washington Township also offers summer programs, memberships, and private tutoring to help give kids the best chance to understand and excel in mathematics.
Bob D’Orazio, the Director of Operations at Mathnasium of Washington Township, is typically the first person parents and students speak with at the center. Bob has a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations and has completed a host of additional business management and human relations courses. He represents 92 centers in the Northeast U.S. and Canada as an elected member of the Mathnasium Franchisee Advisory Committee, and acts as an additional channel of communication between franchisees and Mathnasium management. Kathie D’Orazio, the Director of Education at Mathnasium of Washington Township, has an extensive background in the education field and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.
With Kathie’s education background and Bob’s business experience, they are the perfect pair to run Mathnasium of Washington Township and are fully committed to the kids and community they serve.
