In his personal time, Delehanty likes to stay active — both physically and in his community. He plays basketball and golf, loves watching college basketball, and spends a lot of time at his children’s athletic events — including as a volunteer for the youth athletics lacrosse league in his hometown of Brookfield, CT.

He is an active member of Brotherhood in Action, a food pantry that delivers meals around the holidays and end of the school year when underprivileged families often can’t afford to feed their children. He also volunteers at Ann’s Place, a local cancer support group.
