Recommendation Letter for The Grand Theatre

To whom it may concern:

It’s a great pleasure to write this letter in recommendation of The Grand Theatre, which was opened in 1901 by a theatrical entrepreneur, Ambrose Small. Over the years, The Grand Theatre has been a movie house, an amateur theatre company and in 1978, it underwent an enormous renovation and defined its focus as a professional regional theatre.

The Grand Theatre is one of the most beautiful theatres in Canada and can employ more than 200 people in the span of a year. The main stage theatre seats a whopping 839 people while the smaller stage theatre hosts 144. They offer year-round performances with several mainstage shows, as well as multiple special presentations.

On top of providing confidence and inspiration to the community, The Grand Theatre is a huge supporter of many community initiatives. They believe in nurturing and inspiring the next generation of youth by helping them understand the importance of the arts. They achieve this through many programs. The High School Project provides children in the area the opportunity to get involved on stage and behind the scenes to explore their creative protentional. The Holiday Wish for Kids program offers children and their caregivers — who wouldn’t otherwise be able to — a chance to see live theatre.

The Grand Theatre also offers subsidized student pricing on tickets and a Student Club which offers many benefits including performances, meet-and-greets with the Artistic Director and question-and-answer sessions with the actors.
It is easy to see why I recommend The Grand Theatre to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience or a night out.

Sincerely,
