It is with deep respect that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of a great organization, Senior Access. Founded in 1993, Senior Access connects volunteers with seniors in low-income areas who cannot afford transportation, and aging neighbors who need a safe, reliable way to get around.
The vision of Senior Access is to ensure every senior has access to essential services. As such, it provides free transportation and support services that enhance independence and quality of life for the seniors it serves. This includes rides to appointments, minor household repairs and chores, assistance with filling out online paperwork or applications, and more. It currently works with over 1,300 seniors in the Round Rock, Pflugerville, Hutto, East Austin, and Manor areas of central Texas.
At Senior Access, it is truly the people that make all the difference. Each staff member and volunteer provides a vital role in keeping the organization running smoothly.
