Pooja has been a photographer for almost 13 years. She began her career as an IT professional and eventually worked her way up to project management, but her passion for storytelling was always in the back of her mind. Over time, she realized that if she didn’t give her dream of becoming a photographer a chance, she might never know where it could take her.

“Once you’re addicted to your passion, it’s a very different story. You cannot let go, and I could not let go. So, here I am, 13 years, doing something I absolutely love.” Pooja says.

Today, Pooja is an award-winning professional headshot and portrait photographer known for providing personalized, full-service experiences. She takes a one-on-one approach with each client, creating a comfortable and thoughtful process that results in portraits that feel both professional and personal.

“I’m not just selling photos; I’m selling an experience.” Pooja explains.

Her work has also been featured across a variety of respected publications and platforms, including Vanity Fair, Forbes, and Biz Journal, where her client headshots were published alongside editorial features. Her work has also appeared in Mortgage Banker Magazine, showcasing her talent and attention to detail.

What many people may be surprised to learn about Pooja is that one of her greatest strengths is her ability to read people without making it obvious. She pays close attention to body language, expressions, and subtle cues to understand what makes each client comfortable and adjust her approach accordingly.

“Once they get comfortable, they open up, and then the true essence of a person comes out. To do that in a few minutes, I think that is sometimes a big, pleasant surprise for people.” Pooja mentions.

Pooja is very involved in her local community and enjoys finding meaningful ways to give back. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), an organization that provides photographers with resources, education, and a supportive environment to grow and thrive in their profession.
