Annual Brunch & Auction benefiting Sattlebred Rescue

Jill Lowry recently volunteered to help organize the annual Brunch & Auction benefiting Sattlebred Rescue. The event attracted attendees from all over the US and raised about one third of the rescue’s annual operating expenses. Saddlebred Rescue buys and rehabilitates around 100 American Saddlebred horses each year, adopting them out to riding programs and beginning show riders around the country.

Pictured here with Mary Gaylord McLean who purchased the sale-topping item, legendary horseman Don Harris, who donated the item — the hat he wore campaigning World’s Grand Champion, CH Imperator — and Judy Lowry, 2016 Event Chair.
