Recommendation for Community Shelter Services

It is with great honor and respect that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of an important organization, Community Shelter Services. Established in 1973, Community Shelter Services provides vital services with the mission of preserving the dignity and supporting the development of those who are homeless.
Community Shelter Services fulfills this mission by providing temporary, transitional, and permanent shelter, as well as support services, referrals, and advocacy. It works to enable individuals to meet their basic need for food, clothing, and shelter, and transforms lives using a holistic approach to understanding and addressing behavioral health, housing, and employment needs.
In the last 12 months, Community Shelter Services has provided over 91,000 safe nights of sleep, 90,000 meals, housing for 90 families, and shelter for 215 children. However, none of it would be possible without the amazing staff and volunteers that stand behind it. Each one is kind, caring, and genuinely passionate about helping those around them.
Community Shelter Services is an important organization that provides vital support and service to those who need it most. I commend its staff and volunteers for the good work they do and support them wholeheartedly as they work to make a difference in the lives of so many people.
