Schooley Mitchell is committed to providing a respectful, welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for people of all levels of ability, prioritizing a person-first approach in everything we do. We have a vast array of diversity among our staff, which we take great pride in, and strive to be as equitable and empathetic as possible when it comes to access for them and anyone else who visits our premises.

At Schooley Mitchell, it has always been our mission to create a workplace culture where every employee is recognized and valued. This begins with the recruitment process, and extends to every part of the employee experience, from training, onwards. We are committed to being a barrier free environment and meeting the requirements of all existing legislation and regulations, as well as developing our own internal policies and goals to continue to uplift our staff.

As we are not a customer-facing business, our efforts for in person accessibility largely involve meeting each individual employee’s needs where they are at. This has included creating allergy safe spaces, flexible and hybrid work schedules, and ensuring the workplace is safe and respectful for handlers of service animals. With regards to digital accessibility, we are continuing to adjust and develop new strategies to make our services and digital materials readily accessible to people of all levels of ability. This website has been developed using web standards and accessibility to allow for people of all abilities and disabilities to browse its content.
