John Dryden once said, “We first make our habits, and then our habits make us.” Of course, not all habits are created equal. Some are definitely better for us than others.
We often focus our energy on breaking our bad habits but tend to neglect our good ones. Ditching a not-so-good habit doesn’t happen overnight, and creating new ones doesn’t either.
That’s why setting aside time to focus on new habit development is important, says author and marketing guru Seth Godin. Just 20 minutes a day is all it takes to set you on the right path.
