Community Involvement

Schooley Mitchell has a strong focus on community involvement. Optimization Specialists Andrew Theismann, Almita Theismann and Bob Cole take pride in being part of the following organizations:

Chamber of Commerce

Andrew was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce.  Over the past few years, he has been involved with numerous committees and events.

Sailing – Team Bad Moon

Andrew has been actively competing and coaching sailing for the past 20 years. He has been competing with team Bad Moon for the past few years. The team competed in, and won, the 2014 Southwest Championship for J/24 Sailboats and qualified for the 2015 World Championship in Germany.

Andrew has formed a new competitive sailing team, Team YounG’uns, with family and friends for the 2015 Racing Season.

Youth Sailors of North Texas

Along with racing sailboats, Andrew volunteers his time to coach and mentor the youth sailors of North Texas. Having been involved with Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club and the Youth Sailing Program since he was a kid, he loves to work with kids and help them to become world class sailors.

Civil Air Patrol

Andrew has been involved with Civil Air Patrol for well over 10 years and loves the three missions of Cadet Programs: Youth Leadership Development, Aerospace Education, and Emergency Services. Starting out years ago as a Cadet, he has now logged over 2,000 flying hours searching for downed aircrafts and teaching Cadets how to fly. Andrew serves as a mentor and instructor for the Cadet Programs focusing on leadership and management.
