Today I received a phone call from a business in Honolulu. They had been talking with one of their branches that we have been working with here in Seattle. The Seattle based company gave us such rave reviews that the Hawaii branch immediately wanted to team with us as well. "Start saving us money and time too" was their comment. This is one of several examples of how my business has grown over the past year. Referrals and word of mouth advertising are my best friends.

Being part of a company that is known nationally helps my local franchise because I have several options in helping this customer in Hawaii. I could refer them to another franchise closer to them or I could work with this client myself or I could share the work with another franchise. (Let’s see Hawaii, work, new customer…I may just have to travel there to determine the best solution for this one!)

I am very excited to be part of this growing company with a core focus on saving money for our clients. My clients love me because I save them money. I love my job because my customers are always happy to see or hear from me. I love my career choice, not only because of my customers and the great vendors I work with but also because I am constantly challenged to learn more about the growing technology field, running a business, and working with people. To make it even better my income continually climbs.

The software program Schooley Mitchell continues to enhance has increased the productivity of this office by making the job easier whenever possible (the distance learning program, for example, I will start using next week with a new employee). The programs available to my clients such as PULSE and now the articles available for publications are great value adds. It seems Schooley Mitchell just continues to get better. I am proud of the professional web site, tools and the continual education offered by this company. I am especially pleased with the response I receive when I have a question or need help from our corporate office. Mostly I am pleased that ideas are listened to and when appropriate shared with all of the franchises. We will continue to grow as long as we all feel part of the team.

I have to say, that at the beginning when I wondered what I had gotten myself into (It did take a few months to figure out what I was doing), I was unsure of my decision to be a telecom consultant with Schooley Mitchell. As I am approaching my two-year anniversary I just wanted to say Thank You to Head Office for helping me see the potential, for keeping me connected to all that was going on in the company, and for listening to the many ideas of those in the business. Becoming a franchisee was a great decision for me. I truly can say after two years in the business, with no previous telecom experience, that I am a Telecom Expert. Business is great and of course I am always looking for more.
